For my main study this year I am focusing my collection on chain mail.
Using research and taking inspiration from Aztec warriors and their armour, to more contemporary european armour and designers such as Fannie Schiavoni I am aiming to make a striking and memorable collection.
I am privileged enough to have landed an intern opportunity with Fannie, helping from now and carrying on after graduation, I have the opportunity to help with preparations for London Fashion week in February, duplicate and construct some of her iconic pieces.
I've added a few images of her pieces, also worn by Rihanna and Lady Ga Ga I'm excited to be apart of Fannie's work.
